Limasawa DIY in 2 days
Limasawa is just a small remote island, 2 days here is already enough to explore most of the places, perfect for a weekend getaway.
We only DIYed this and researched the where-to-go places before the trip
Getting there
We got there by a pump boat in Padre Burgos Port for 180 pesos per head.
In the Port they collect two environmental fees, my guess its for the Padre Burgos Port and for the Limasawa Island for 25 and 100 pesos respectively.
Mode of Transportation and Accomodation
I recommend renting a motorcycle here so that you can go to places whenever and wherever you want. We contacted a motorcycle renter in Facebook days before and asked to meet us at the Magallanes Port on our arrival to the Island, their fee was 700 pesos per day but you need to know how to drive a motorcycle or be with someone who can.
For other option, you can also hire a motor taxi (Chariot) to take you places but this would just limit on exploring more the Island.
For our accommodation, we rented a house where we can cook for ourselves since we are a group and we could save a lot of money rather than staying in a resort.

Limasawa Welcome Sign
The first attraction we went after arriving, there were already a lot of people taking pictures here because its a weekend that also has a holiday.
I advise to go here very early on the 2nd day
Limasawa, Southern Leyte
First Mass Gallery
Quick history visit of the Limasawa Island, its just a small museum with paintings about the history and a wishing well that has a bell.
Limasawa, Southern Leyte
First Cross Monument
Located at the top which you have to hike if you came from the First Mass Gallery but there is a road at the other side so you dont need to hike.
Limasawa, Southern Leyte
Dakdak Beach
This is one of the most beautiful and a must-go-to if you visit Limasawa
Island Lagoon Resort
We also went to this resort, the beach is good but a bit of a hike going down, it has a lot of jumping spots for people who wanna jump but also there's a pool pocket for kids.
Limasawa, Southern Leyte
Bad-as Peak
To end this beautiful trip, we went here on the 2nd day afternoon where the sun already settles, it has no entrance fee because its just at the side of the road.
Conclusion
There are other places we didnt went with this trip but I think for a 2-day vacation, it was already worth it.
A stamp means they were really there.
